Dogtoberfest - Lake Jacomo, Blue Springs

Event starts at 10 a.m. and is open all day til 4 p.m.
I like to get there early, so I'm planning to be there around 10am for a couple of hours.

There's no entry fee and tons of booths (some shopping and many for local breed saving/fostering) and events to watch including agility contests and police dog demos. There are other fun games you can enter as well.

The one event that does require a fee is "Trails for Tails". You can register ahead of time through the event website, but I usually just do it the day of the event. You get a t-shirt and goodie bag. It's usually $25-$35. It's a dog walk at your own pace at any time during the day. The trail is pretty rugged ... ie not on blacktop but on soil and through a dry creek bed.
