Calling all big dogs and friends! Join us for doggie events such as off-leash playtime, learning new tricks and more.
Because I couldn't find a good dog group close to home that had monthly Meet-Ups, I decided to start one. If you have an easy going, non-aggressive, dog and want to meet other local dog lovers, join our group.
There are no upcoming Meetups.
I am forming this group for JRT owners in the east valley. After reading the names of other folks interested in such a group (including my friend Sandi who runs the Russell Rescue located near Recker and Baseline), I thought I'd try my hand at organizing a Meetup Group. We'll start small and build from there. If this group gets to be too much for me, I'll ask the membership for help. Let's get our very social little dogs together for some fun. As I type that, I feel the need to at least …
4M: Makers, Modders and Masters at the Micro-Factory Every month we get together to learn how to make or mod something cool. So far we've learned about car and helicopter building, guns, dog training, and more. If you're a "Master" of your craft, get in touch - we'd love to learn from you! We'll feature you at one of the 4M events so you can teach the group what you know. We always feature great local food, usually from Short Leash Hot Dogs, and Mojo Ice Bowl.

We are a fun group of experienced hikers who welcome others who enjoy difficult 5+ mile trails at a fast pace. This is NOT A BEGINNER hiking group - we do Camelback and/or Piestewa Peak during the week for workouts to train for our longer weekend hikes. If you cannot summit both of those trails - you will find our hikes VERY difficult. Our hikes are not dog friendly unless otherwise posted. Sometimes we plan backpacking events as well as other outdoor recreation like canyoneering, caving or ski …
